James Arthur Vineyards offers an exceptional location for any special occasion, company retreat, social event or family gathering. In the following pages, you will find 6 options available for you to hold your private party at Nebraska’s largest winery.
Our richly appointed private party room with comfortable furnishings, rich decor and spectacular views affords an extra-ordinary venue available nowhere else in the region. We are well known for our excellent service, ambiance and food for corporate dinners, anniversaries or any social gathering. To allow for better service and presentation of your meal it is important for us to personalize the menu for your group. We work with you to offer custom-catered meals; and our award-winning selection of fine wines all in an idyllic secluded setting.

Rental/Party Rules and Regulations
Weddings and Receptions at James Arthur Vineyards
All weddings at James Arthur Vineyards begin at 10 am on Saturdays. All ceremonies are held in front of the waterfall, with guests seated in each gazebo and in folding chairs on the cement pad directly behind the bride and groom.
There is a limit of 70 people for weddings.
The cost for a wedding held at JAV is $500.00, which includes a total of 1-1/2 hours for ceremony, wine toast and picture taking. Wine will be served in half glass portions to all guests over the age of 21, with lemonade or ice water provided for those not drinking the wine.
A reception can be held at JAV for an additional charge. Please check out the special event party pricing for details.
Absolutely NO outside alcoholic beverages can be brought onto JAV's premises. Anyone possessing an alcoholic beverage other than JAV's wine will be asked to leave. No exceptions.
James Arthur Vineyards is open to the public at noon on Saturdays; therefore wedding festivities must be completed by that time.
All flowers, balloons and other decorations must be taken down before the wedding party leaves.
A non-refundable damage deposit of $50 is due on completion of this contract. Your date will be confirmed upon signing of a contract and the non-refundable $50 deposit is received by James Arthur Vineyards.
After your wedding is complete, if no damage is found your $50 deposit will be applied to your final bill.
The St. Croix Room
One of The winery’s latest additions, The St. Croix Room, is a meeting/party room overlooking both the St. Croix grapevines outside and the wine production area inside. This beautiful, sunny room features a stone fireplace, wine-tasting bar, catering kitchen, and French doors leading to a private deck. Underneath this versatile room lies JAV’s bottling line, where all the vintages are filled before finding their final resting place.
The St. Croix room is the perfect place for your next all-office strategic planning meeting or that family anniversary party. It’s is always available for you, your family, friends and co-workers and provides multiple power outlets to help you with your audio-visual equipment needs.
